Maximizing Rewards on Silo

Points

Users earn points by holding or using whitelisted tokens on Sonic Protocols.

Passive Points

Different tokens have a different Passive Point rate - the rate at which points are earned for holding the token.

TokenPoints
scUSD, stkscUSD6x
USDC.e5x
scETH, stkscETH, S, wS, stS4x
ONE, WETH, SolvBTC, SolvBTC.bbn2x

For example, holding 1ofscUSDinyourwalletwillearn6pointsperdaywhileholding1 of scUSD in your wallet will earn 6 points per day while holding 1 of USDC.e will earn 5 points per day.

Important notes

  • WETH, SolvBTC, and SolvBTC.BBN earns Activity Multiplier only, not passive points.
  • Some whitelisted assets are boosted in the first 3 months after Sonic’s launch to encourage their usage and attract more liquidity to Sonic. After this period, we may choose to extend or reduce boosts.
  • Whitelisted assets and their multipliers are subject to change.
  • S tokens staked through MySonic are not eligible for points. Users who wish to stake can instead use stS by Beets.

Activity Points

Using one of the above tokens in a Sonic dApp entitles a user to a 2x Activity Multiplier.

For example, depositing $1 of scUSD on Silo will earn 12 points per day rather than 6 points.

App Points

The remaining 37.50% of the reward program is assigned to Gems, earned by protocols based on their share of total Sonic Points.

tip

Silo commits to distributing 100% of $S earned from Gems to Silo Sonic users based on the Silo Point program.

Note that each protocol has a different way of assigning App Points, so exact distributions will differ.
